Onshore Multi-Disciplined NDT Inspectors:
2010/11 has been a very busy year onshore for Axiom NDT Ltd, with the successful (and early) completion of the M74 Extension project, as well as ongoing work on the new Commonwealth Games Velodrome and Forth Road Bridge strengthening project bolstering the, always heavy, routine work load.
This level of activity has allowed the creation of two new permanent positions for multi-disciplined NDT technicians.
The past year also saw long serving employee Mark Burns make an impact in his new role as Inspection Manager. Already holding PCN Level II certification in all the usual inspection disciplines (MPI, DPI, UT, EC), Mark recently qualified as an API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector.
Mark has been with Axiom for over ten years and with around thirty years of experience in the non-destructive testing industry (both on and offshore) has become a key member of the management team and as such the focal point for onshore activities.
